Officer Ms. Kate Fiander paid a courtesy call on the Commander Security
Forces Headquarters – Jaffna Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe
on Monday (12).
Meanwhile, French Ambassador in Sri Lanka Her Excellency Mrs. Christine
Robichon had a cordial meeting with the SF-J Commander at the Headquarters
SF-J in Palaly on Tuesday (13) as a part of her fact finding visit
to the north.
Major General Hathurusinghe briefed the delegations on Army’s involvement
in development and community welfare programmes in addition to ensuring
security in the peninsula.
