Children Receive Christmas Gifts from 51 Division

On the eve of
the Christmas this year, 51 Division at Kopay organized a special
programme to entertain students and small children in the neighbouring
village of Selvapuram on Wednesday (21) at Selvapuram Community
Hall.
The 51 Division
in collaboration with “Bridge of Hope Centre”, a Jaffna-based
charity organization distributed school uniforms, shoes, school
bags and other school items among 111 students. Value of the donation
is about Rs. 666000/=.
Children
during the function presented a cultural show and Santa Claus
was seen walking about giving Christmas gifts to children.

Vanderwall, Rev. Fr. R. Iyangaran, Rev. Fr. Arunayagam of “Bridge
of Hope Centre”, senior officers of the 51 Division and villagers
were present on the occasion.
