Jaffna
Tamil Buddhist Association donated exercise books and school bags
to 100 school children from various areas in Jaffna on 22nd January
during a brief ceremony held at the Jaffna Sri Naga Vihara.
The donation was organized
by Ven. Meegahajandure Sirivimala Thero and Mr. Ravikumar, President
Jaffna Tamil Buddhist Association with patronage of Ven. Mahamithawa
Pagnarathana thero, Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi Extension Officer of
the President’s Office.
Member of Parliament
Mr. Udayan, Commander Security Forces – Jaffna Major General Mahinda
Hathurusinghe, senior officers of the 51 Division and members
of the Association were present.
