Troops
of the 15th Gajaba Regiment (15 GR) serving under the 52 Division,
with intention of enhancing health condition of the children of
low-income families, distributed milk powder packets and school
items among pre-school students.
Packets of
milk powder, specially made for budding children were given to
48 kids of Karambakurichchi pre-school and 54 kids of the same
pre-school received parcels of school items from the Army on Friday
(25).
General Officer Commanding 52 Division Brigadier Anura Sudhasinghe,
Commanding Officer 15 GR Lieutenant Colonel Sarath Dayananda,
Civil Affairs Officer of the 52 Division Lieutenant Colonel Luxman,
officers and other ranks of the 15 GR and 52 Division participated
in the handing over of donation.
