Three-Day National Level Cricket Coaching Camp Held In Jaffna

Jaffna School cricket players had a golden opportunity to get training from national cricket veterans during a three day coaching camp held at St. Patrick’s College ground, Jaffna.

Oglivey Action Company Ltd. with sponsorship of Coca Cola Company organized this coaching camp which was conducted by Aravinda De Silva, B.S. Perera and Stand Nell. Seventy five students from Jaffna and north central province participated in the camp. Twenty five cricket coaches from Jaffna and Colombo assisted them in training the players.

After the three day training started on 22nd June, 20 students were selected for further training at a super coaching camp to be conducted by Aravinda De Silva Cricket Foundation.

Civil Affairs and Public Relations Office Jaffna assisted the organizers coordinating and providing logistic requirements to students for three days.
