OF KALLIKAI ARMY CAMP
We, the people of Karaveddy have faced inconveniences due
to withdrawal of the Kallikai Army camp. Thefts, sexual
abuses on school children, anti social behaviouir of drunkards
and stealing of animals in the area have increased after
the camp was removed. Occurrence of those incidents was
rare during the presence of the camp. Therefore, we kindly
request you, as the Jaffna Commander to re-establish the
Kallikai Army camp and help us protect our people in Karaveddy.
We, the people of Karaveddy sign underneath.
