J / Puttur Madihe Pagnasiha Vidyalaya Receives Donation from Maharagama Vagiragnana Dhamma School

Members and the Head of the staff of Maharagama Siri Vajiragnana Dhamma School commemorated the 100th birth anniversary of its founder, the Late Mahanayake Most Ven. Madihe Pagnasiha Thero distributing donations to school children in Jaffna recently.

Ven. Hakmana Sumanasiri Thero, Head of the Staff, Ven. Makangamuwa Gnanatissa Thero and other teachers of the Siri Vajiragnana Dhamma School visited Madihe Pagnasiha Vidyalaya of Puttur East pioneered by Most Ven. Mahanayake Thero during his time and distributed books, pens, pencils, other stationeries and school uniforms to 56 students of that school at a ceremony organized by the 511 Brigade on Thursday, October 25th.

The donation worth over Rs. 300,000/= was coordinated by the 511 Brigade at Atchelu. Lunch was also provided to all students.

Rev. Fr. A.G. Nelson of Kopay Catholic Church and senior army officers also attended.
