52 Division Celebrate Sinhala & Hindu New Year with Civilians

A Sinhala and Hindu New Year festival which symbolizes cultural unity and harmony between the two communities was organized by the Headquarters 52 Division on 7th April 2017. On the initiative of Major General Aruna Wanniarachchi, (GOC) 52 Division, the Headquarters had arranged a range of traditional sports and events along with the Western Music Band of the Sri Lanka Military Police in order to entertain the participants.

Civilians of different age groups enthusiastically took part in many events together with soldiers. Valuable prizes were given to winners and participants by the 52 Division. Brigades and battalions serving under the 52 Division extended their support in organizing the event.
