Sri Lanka Army Female Soldiers and Rehabilitated Ex-LTTE Female Members Celebrate the New Year

With the initiative of Headquarters, Security Force - Jaffna, women soldiers of Sri Lanka Army 7th Battalion Women’s Corps (7SLAWC) visited the Ex-LTTE female members who were rehabilitated and resettled in the neighboring village ‘Chunnakam’ on 13th April 2017. This was organized with the sheer intention of developing the bond between the two nations and understanding the matters related to their family life, livelihood and their requirements.

During the visit, the women soldiers interacted with them and exchanged their views and ideas in a friendly manner. Moreover, they distributed sweets and New Year gifts to children.
