New Computers Donated to Navathkuli Maha Vidyalaya

To promote knowledge on Information Technology (IT), the Security Force Jaffna has been lending its assistance to all the schools in Jaffna Peninsula by way of donating school items, software and IT accessories.

After identifying the lapses for IT education in Navathkuli Maha Vidyalaya arrangements were made to donate three new computers with all accessories to the school on the initiative of Major General Dharsana Hettiarachchi, Commander Security Force, Jaffna.

The donation was handed over to the school by Major General Aruna Wanniarachchi, General Officer Commanding 52 Division in a simple ceremony held at Navathkuli Vidyalaya on 20 July 2017. Brigadier Tikiri Dissanayaka, Commander 523 Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Pradeep Rathnayaka, Commanding Officer 12 Gamunu Watch Regiment, Mr. S. Pavalakumaran, Principle Navathkuli Maha Vidyalaya, the Teachers and Students were presented during the event.
