Troupes of Security Force Jaffna Celebrated World Children's Day

Strengthening the course Reconciliation in the North and in view of celebrating World Children's Day Secrity Force Headquarters (Jaffna) has organized an entertainment programme for children in Jaffna at Subramaniyam Children's Park on 01.10.2017.

On the direction of Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi, Commander, Security Force Jaffna, women soldiers of 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps in collaboration with Headquarters Security Force (Jaffna) has organized this entertainment programme.

30 children who are living in 51, 52 and 53 Division area, all together 90 children were gathered and enjoyed with several fun making games. Subsequently, students of "Sive Chathurasra" children's home presented a stage drama. At the end of the programme gift items were presented for all participants.

Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior Military Officers, soldiers and parents were present at the event.
