Commemoration of fallen soldiers of Indian Peace Keeping Force

In concurrence with the 70th Indian Republic Day, the commemoration of Fallen Heroes of Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) was held at the IPKF Monument located at Palaly on 26 January 2019. Consul General of India in Jaffna, Mr. S Balachandran together with the Brigadier Admin and Quartering of Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna, Brigadier Ajith Elwatte, paid tributes to the Fallen Heroes by placing flower wreaths at the monument.

Further, a cultural dancing troupe from India performed traditional dancing items at the Cinema hall of Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna), in the presence of the Indian High Commissioner, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks.
