Computer Course Conducted at the Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna

Basic computer course is conducted for Other Rankers who are serving in the Jaffna Peninsula, from 24th July to 19th August 2019. The computer course was conducted by 'Orient Lanka Academy' with the aim of improving the computer literacy of the Other Rankers. There were 21 Other Rankers, representing the under command battalions took part in this course. The S/249881 Pte Fonseka LHN of the 6th Field Engineers Regiment secured the first place in order of merit while S/484230 Pte Udaya Kumara MMS of the 14th The Gajaba Regiment and S/2082734 Rec Jayathilaka MGCB of the 3rd Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Signal Corps were awarded the Second and Third Places accordingly.

Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna Brigadier Priyantha Gamage distributed the certificates at the closing ceremony held at Security Force Headquarter Premises on Monday, 19th August 2019.
