Army Intervenes to Find Employments for Jaffna Youth

Eight unemployed youngsters in Mirusuvil area were recently able to find jobs with intervention of the 52 Division of the Security Forces Jaffna.

Those youth were employed by K.B. Ebert & Sons Ltd., a contractor company in charge of reconstructing the Jaffna-Point Pedro main road after fruitful discussions between the Commanding Officer of the 17th Gemunu Watch Lieutenant Colonel Kithsiri Kottewatta and the Project Manager of the Company Mr. R. Kithminikumara.

Appointment letters in this effect were handed over to respective men by General Officer Commanding 52 Division Brigadier Lal Perera in the presence of the Project Manager of the Company and a few senior Army officers of the 52 Division.
