Attend Annual Festival of Sella Sannathi Hindu Temple

A grand
pooja attended by thousands of Hindus and Buddhists marked the culmination
of annual festival of Sella Sannathi Hindu temple in Thondaman Aru,
Jaffna on Friday (23.07.2010).
Situated
in a beautiful landscape on the edge of Thondaman Aru lagoon, Sella
Sannathi is one the oldest Temples in the island dedicated to God
Skandha.
Many
devotees arriving in this sacred religious site are in the habit
of cleaning themselves dipping in the lagoon before worshipping
the God.
Friday’s
ceremony was attended by devotees from various parts of Jaffna and
outstations.
