Jaffna Vesak Festival Continues to Second Day

Jaffna grand vesak festival “Yapa Patunai Daham Amavai” continued to the second day on Friday 28th with a massive influx of visitors.

Chief Guest of the day was Major General (Retd) G.A. Chandrasiri, Governor Northern Province.

Additional Government Agent Jaffna Mrs. Rubani Varthalingam, Chief Regional Manager (SLTB) Mr. K. Ganeshapille, Zonal Director of Education (Jaffna) Mr. A. Vedanayagam, Dr. Gunadasa Amarasekara and radio artiste Cyril Wickramage were among those who witnessed the event.
