The suspect, Ganesh Sirigaran (30) had kidnapped the 7 year old boy H. Thamilavan while he was in Chavakachcheri town with his mother Vallipuram Sivarajini (30), according to information.
On seeing her son was forcibly taken by a cyclist, the mother had yelled for help of the others who assisted the Police and the Army to locate the child kept in a place behind the hospital.
